About us:

CBA was founded to help those seeking Jesus to have a safe place where they can learn how to get saved and why. It is also a place where saints (those who have accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior) can find a Bible-believing Church, solid resources, teachers, charities, etc., that are faithful to the Word of God.

We are NOT affiliated with any Church or denomination. (1Corinthians 3:3); but the fact is there are some Churches that preach the Word of God and some in apostasy. We will NEVER promote a Church that betrays the teachings of the Bible.

We are NOT paid nor do we accept donations. Matthew 10:8 “Freely you have received; freely give.” We are NOT a charity. If the Lord leads you to join our mission or support it, let us know, but we will NEVER accept money or gifts. Bibles, tracts, yard stakes, etc., YES. The Lord has graciously provided for our needs. Philippians 4:11

If you feel called to give, we can direct you to organizations that have been audited and serve different needs. These organizations will also spread the gospel so that the people may know the love of CHRIST.

While we will defend the faith and promote the gospel, we are not a debate club. If you have legitimate questions, we will be happy to answer them or direct you to where you might find the answers, but we WILL NOT argue. We give the true Word of God. If at some point we are wrong and need correction, we are open to that, but NOT debate. Proverbs 12:1

As you have probably noticed, we try to back up everything we say and do with the Word of God. For reference, we will usually use the New King James version of the Bible. There are other good translations and some not-so-good. We have found the Authorized Version to be consistently the best and most reliable, but understand the language can sometimes be difficult. Be careful of other translations, as some have subtle but important errors.

Our mission is simple:

To lead people to Jesus and to help the saints in their journey.

Statement of Faith:

Basically, we believe the statements in the “Nicaean Creed” with some clarification.

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary and became man. For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins, and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.

Amen.

Here are the clarifications: the word catholic is a small ‘c’ and simply means ‘universal.’ We are NOT Catholics, and while a Catholic can be a saved Christian (as opposed to those who are not), we believe the Catholic Church has some major teachings that are contradictory to the Bible. Again, this is NOT a debating society, but we would be happy to discuss what our differences are and why we hold them.

We are Trinitarians, that is, we believe in one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. While the word trinity will not be found in the Bible, it is a clear teaching that we would be happy to share with you.

We believe in the Rapture of the Church, the 7 years of Tribulation, the Second Coming of Christ with His Church, the millennial reign of Christ, and the coming of the New Jerusalem. There is debate about when the Rapture may occur, but that is a family argument with which we lovingly allow for disagreement.

We DO NOT believe in ‘Replacement Theology!’ The Church did NOT replace Israel. We believe Romans 9-11. God is not done with Israel and the Jews are STILL the Chosen People. When the Church is raptured (Latin for ‘the snatching up’), the Lord will reconcentrate on the remnant. We love the Jewish people and wish to see them saved. God loves Israel and will keep His promises to her.

We are neither Arminians nor Calvinists. It is a hot debate within the Church, but it is NOT one we will take sides in. Both are in Scripture and both have truth to them. God, being outside of time, knows all things. You must accept Christ as your Lord in Savior. In our finite minds, it is difficult to understand what seems to be contrary statements. We will NOT debate it.

We are pro-LIFE. Abortion is always wrong. Psalm 139. Having an abortion to save the life of the mother is NOT an abortion. It’s what is called an unintended consequence. It is also rarely necessary. Cases of rape and incest, while horrible, require the prosecution of the felons, not the killing of the baby. This is also EXTREMELY rare, less than 2% (. Torres A and Forrest JD, Why do women have abortions? Family Planning Perspectives, 1988, 20(4):169–176.)

Again, we will discuss but NOT argue. We will also guide women to organizations that can help.
